High-tech help for hemp available from Drirelease

In the build-up to the exhibition, it explained that, for millennia, hemp has been in use in textiles because of its durability, its cotton-like hand-feel, its softness, resistance to shrinkage and mould, and its dyeability.
Drirelease for hemp will enhance these natural qualities, the company has said, by engineering wicking and fast drying properties into fabrics developed using hemp fibres and the New Jersey-based company’s signature system of combining hydrophobic and hydrophilic fibres in such a way as to pull moisture effectively from the skin and release it into the atmosphere.
