E-commerce boost for Wolverine

08/08/2019
Outdoor footwear group Wolverine World Wide has reported revenues of $568.6 million for the second quarter of 2019, which is flat compared to the same three months last year.

Chief executive, Blake Krueger, said it had been a strong quarter in spite of “unfavourable spring weather and overall sluggish US retail conditions”.

He pointed out that Wolverine’s in-house e-commerce business grew by more than 25% over the quarter. He added that he expected a good level of growth in sales for brands such as Merrell, Sperry and Saucony in the second half of 2019.
