Japanese designer creates running apparel collection for Nike

Comprising 11 pieces, the collection combines a variety of innovations that Nike has introduced to running apparel down through the years.
Commenting on the collection, Ms Abe, the creative director and founder of the Sacai label, said: “Often, I take the things I like from two different items of clothing and splice them together to create a whole that is bigger than the sum of its parts.”
Examples in this collection include a reworking of Nike’s Windrunner jacket, making it into a skirt, and a new version of the Tiempo running shorts.
The collection’s name is Nike x Sacai.
