Huntsman adds to footwear offerings

Chemical company Huntsman has expanded its Daltoped platform of PU systems for the footwear sector, and will present the developments at trade show K in October.

It says the range meets the lightweight, comfort and high-performance requirements demanded by sports, casual and safety shoe manufacturers.

The team will also highlight its portfolio of Avalon TPUs, which deliver soft, rubber-like properties with high slip resistance.

K, a fair aimed at the plastics and rubber industries, will take place from 16 to 23 October in Düsseldorf, Germany.
