Cycling brand aims for international growth

Quebec-based cycling apparel group Louis Garneau Sports (LGS) has appointed Claude Leblond as its new business development manager for Europe and the Middle East. Mr Leblond has more than 30 years’ experience of sales in the sports industry.

LGS said it would rely on Claude Leblond’s team-building and leadership abilities to help it bring its products to the global cycling market.

For his part, Mr Leblond paid tribute to the legacy and culture of LGS, founded by Louis Garneau in 1983 and still run by the Garneau family. “There certainly isn’t another brand in North America like Garneau,” the new business development manager said. “You can feel Louis’s passion for cycling throughout the organisation.”
