Boot sales will generate conservation donations

Italian outdoor footwear brand Garmont has said it will donate a stake from each purchased pair of its Rangers boots to Global Conservation Corps (GCC), a conservation association.

The donations are to invest in the training projects of the ‘Future Rangers Programme’, creating the opportunity of studying and deepening awareness of conservation in schools in South Africa.

As part of a partnership with GCC, Garmont supplies a high-necked boot made of resistant materials to the rangers of the South African Reserves, who fight against poaching.

It presented its latest boots, an urban take on the Rangers, and a sportier Lite version available with a vibram technical sole, at the Micam exhibition in Milan in mid-September.
