Desire for international growth drives executive team changes at Pentland

Pentland Brands has announced new executive team responsibilities and will appoint a new chief marketing officer to help it “drive international growth”.

President of its footwear division, Richard Newcombe, will become its president for Europe and the Middle East, while continuing to lead on footwear.
 
Chief executive, Andy Long, will continue to lead the executive team. Chirag Patel will take on deputy chief executive officer responsibilities in addition to his current role as chief operating officer, which includes overseeing the Pentland Brands business in the Americas. After ten years at Pentland, president for the business in Europe, the Middle East and the Americas, Carl Davies, will leave the business at the end of September.

In addition, the group has decided the time is right for it to appoint a chief marketing officer and it has started the recruitment process to find the right person for the role.
