Clean-up idea unites REI and United By Blue

Outdoor brand United By Blue will team up with specialist retail co-op REI to encourage consumers to take part in community clean-ups on successive Saturdays in November.

The events will be in REI’s home city, Seattle, on November 9, Denver the following Saturday and Philadelphia, where United By Blue has its headquarters, the week after that.

Together, the companies have developed a special clean-up kit comprising a reusable mesh trash-bag, gloves and a bandana.
