Outdoor and activewear solutions from Archroma to go on show in Mumbai

12/11/2019
Textile chemicals manufacturer Archroma will attend the ChromaTexChem India 2019 event in Mumbai on November 14 and 15. It will present innovations and systems aimed at helping textile manufacturers and will also moderate a panel at the official conference on sustainable innovation in textile processing that will run in parallel with the exhibition.

Technologies it will present are all compliant with ‘The Archroma Way’, a name the group applies to solutions that are safe and efficient, with natural properties.

Specific to outdoor and activewear, it will show visitors to the Mumbai event a series of solutions including Color Vibe, a system to help nylon sportswear maintain colour vibrancy, Fast Sport, a colouration system for polyester knitted sportswear, and Hydry, to keep activewear dry and fresh for longer.

Under the outdoor and activewear banner, there will also be Odor Control, a system for improved material longevity, freshness and wearing comfort that uses Sanitized Odoractiv 10.
There will also be Swift Blend, a resource-saving system for deep colours, dyed in a single step with half the resources and, finally, Wick Stop, an anti-wicking system to keep feet drier in the wet, with what Archroma has called “maximum mesh sneaker durability”.

The group’s head of sales in India, Anjani Prasad, said in the build-up to the event: “With growing concerns about resource scarcity and product safety, brands and manufacturers in India work with us, because we continuously develop innovations and solution systems that help them to address these challenges, increase productivity and create value for them.”
