Revenues down but income up for Mizuno

Japanese sports brand Mizuno has reported revenues of $785 million dollars for the first six months of its current financial year, which runs from April 2019 to March 2020.

While this represents a decline of 1.7% compared to the same period a year earlier, the company achieved net income of $26.6 million, which is 21.7% higher than the corresponding figure for the previous financial year.

Over the six-month period in the current year, Mizuno achieved 68.5% of its revenues in its home market. Of total sales, apparel contributed 29.2% of the total and 28.9% came from footwear.
