New FESI president lists his priorities

05/12/2019
The Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry (FESI) has named Neil Narriman as its new president. Mr Narriman works as general counsel for intellectual property at sports brand Puma.

He will succeed Frank Dassler as FESI president, whom he congratulated at the time of his appointment “for all the work he has done over the past years”.

One of the key tasks he will face during his three-year tenure will be to promote free, fair and sustainable trade between the EU and its key trading partners. Another priority will be the development and acceleration of circularity principles in the sporting goods sector.

He said he will also continue FESI’s fight against counterfeiting, calling it “a scourge that threatens consumers, jobs and the environment, costing our industry in Europe €300 million each year”.
