Adidas release its “fastest ever distance running shoe”

The new silhouette, which is an update on the adidas adizero Adios, also has a midsole that employs the brand’s Lightstrike technology, for cushioning and “explosive movements and enduring speed” along with Boost technology in the heel for temperature-independent comfort and energy return.
The shoe also uses single-layer Celermesh – adidas’ thinnest mesh, a lightweight, injected DSP outsole for flexibility and durability, and Continental – a high-performance rubber compound – for grip in all conditions
“What you saw on professional athlete’s feet on the podiums of last year’s NYC marathon and World Championships in Doha,” said Alberto Uncini Manganelli, general manager, adidas Running, “is exactly what customers can expect when they buy a pair. Fast, straight out the box.”
