Fast-growing Carbitex appoints CEO

The CEO of carbon fibre composites supplier Carbitex is retiring after more than four years at the helm.

In that time, Ron Boninger has helped build partnerships with footwear brands, to triple production capacity and increase revenue six-fold.

The company has capitalised on brands’ desire for carbon plate technology. Carbitex has steadily scaled up its business, growing 510% last year.

Footwear vertean Rob Langstaff will take his place as CEO. Mr Langstaff has held senior roles at adidas, Brooks Running and most recently as serve as senior vice-president of international business at Keen Footwear.
