Sanitized’s laboratory gets IAC certified
Antimicrobial material specialist Sanitized has had its in-house microbiology laboratory in the company’s TecCenter certified by the International Antimicrobial Council (IAC), a US-based institute devoted to safety in antimicrobial treated products and for consumers.
A specialist for antimicrobial material protection and hygiene function in textiles and polymers, Sanitized supervises technical applications and conducts microbiological tests and analytics from TecCenter. The IAC certification means the TecCenter meets international standards recognised in the US and Asia.
“This is an important building block for production chain transparency in the textile industry, which is demanded by a growing number of manufacturers and brands that are driven by end customer requirements,” said Erich Rohrbach, head of microbiology at Sanitized.
