Janice Tennant named Merrell’s new chief marketing officer
Janice Tennant has been promoted to the role of chief marketing officer for Merrell. Ms Tennant is now part of the senior leadership team and will report directly to the global brand president, Chris Hufnagel.
In this role, Ms Tennant will lead Merrell's global marketing efforts, “executing strategies to advance the brand’s purpose of sharing the simple power of being outside and driving long-term growth for the brand around the world”, the company said.
With more than 18 years of experience in global brand-building, Ms Tennant most recently was chief marketing officer for Cat Footwear, which is another brand under Merrell’s parent company Wolverine. Before that, she was a director of marketing at Kimberly-Clark and PepsiCo.
