While transforming some of its facilities to manufacture face masks, sports giant Nike continues its traditional job of issuing new trainers and other active footwear. The Air Max Koko is one of its more unconventional releases, turning the chunky concepts of the Max Air trainer into a summer sandal.

“The women's silhouette, shape and proportion are defined by a large-volume Max Air bag and a sculpted forefoot reminiscent of Vapormax,” the company said. “The shoe translates to a funky, elevated, high-tech take on a summer staple.”
