Equip joins Fair Wear Foundation
Equip Outdoor Technologies, parent company to UK outdoor brands Rab and Lowe Alpine, is now an approved member of Fair Wear Foundation.
The company said this means it is dedicated to supporting garment workers’ rights to safe, dignified and properly paid employment, and it highlights Equip brands’ commitment to ethical, social and environmental standards and their responsibility towards stakeholders and community.
“Becoming a member of Fair Wear makes sense as we’ll use their support to strengthen our overseas partnerships and monitor, evaluate and improve working conditions across our global supply chain,” said Matt Gowar, CEO of Equip. “We are looking forward to a strong and collaborative partnership with Fair Wear and other member brands to make garment production fair for everyone.”
