Anta programme has benefited almost a million children

Sports group Anta has completed three years of a children-focused aid project it calls Sturdy Growth.
In the course of the last three years, Anta has, through this programme, donated sports equipment worth more than $25 million and funded sports courses across China.
On the three-year anniversary of the programme, it said nearly 1 million students had from 3,257 schools in 31 provinces had benefited already.
It said the project had also trained 628 physical education teachers.
Chief executive, Ding Shizhong, said the communities that have benefited have mostly been “people in need”.
