Taylor Stitch and Mission Workshop reconnect over technical jacket
The first collaboration in years between outerwear label Taylor Stitch and technical apparel brand Mission Workshop has resulted in a limited edition performance puffer jacket and hints of more to come.
The Farallon jacket has a Schoeller nylon shell treated with bluesign dirt- and water-repellent ecorepel and a nylon liner with 37.5 vapour management technology. Said to be one of the brand’s most “technically-impressive pieces to date”, it also utilises 100% recycled down fill.
Taylor Stitch said the jacket reflects its “responsibly-bilt heritage leanings” with Mission Workshop’s “penchant for technical menswear”.
It also suggested there may be more to come from the two brands:
“At the heart of this collaboration is mutual respect and admiration between two brands who came up together on Valencia Street in San Francisco's historic Mission District. We've learned and grown a lot over the years, and through it all we've always relished having such an awesome team of people close at hand when we need a little extra inspiration. The Farallon is just one more step on what we hope will be a long, long journey. Keep an eye on the horizon, because we're just getting started.”
