Speedo has appointed four-time Olympic medallist Cullen Jones to its North America team. He will become the brand’s philanthropic sales manager and will lead its fundraising initiatives and its efforts to build strong relationships with grass-roots teams and an effective community support strategy.

Cullen Jones competed in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics and won two gold and two silver Olympic medals. He is an ambassador for an initiative called Make A Splash, which provides free swimming lessons to children from disadvantaged communities.

Since its launch in 2007, the organisation has helped more than 8 million children to develop life-saving water safety skills.
