Saucony and Chaco soften Q3 decline for Wolverine group

06/11/2020

Footwear group Wolverine World Wide has reported revenues of $493.1 million for the third quarter of the year, the three-month period ending September 26. The figure represents a decline of 14.1% compared to the same quarter last year.

Chief executive, Blake Krueger, said revenues for the quarter “significantly exceeded our expectations”. He pointed out that running shoe brand Saucony and sandal brand Chaco had both delivered double-digit growth year on year.

Other brands, including Merrell and the group’s work shoe brands reported what Mr Krueger called “meaningful sequential revenue improvement” compared to the second quarter of this year.
