Well known industry figure becomes MD of insulation provider

Wool insulation developer HDWool has named Simon Whitmarsh-Knight as its new managing director.

Mr Whitmarsh-Knight joins the Bradford-based company after almost three years as marketing director in Europe for apparel at fibre group Hyosung. Before that, he spent almost nine years working in various senior positions at Invista.

HDWool is a spin-off from wool producer H Dawson. It aims to encourage outdoor brands to use wool in insulation layers in garments.
