Glove brand launches cycling range
Leather and sports glove manufacturer Pittards has launched a new range of cycling gloves. The gloves, made at the group’s own production facilities in Ethiopia, feature the company’s WR100X leather.
A stretch back has a tab fastening for custom fit, and the gloves also have what the company calls “a generous sweat wipe”. There is reflective piping to improve visibility at night.
WR100X is a technical leather that offers multi-directional texture for grip and control. It is perspiration resistant, ensuring that the gloves stay soft and comfortable for longer, Pittards has said. The leather extends fully over the fingers for more protection when riding off-road.
Strategically placed padding enhances riding comfort and protects vulnerable pressure points, it added.
