A touch of texture
JRC Reflex, maker of retro-reflective materials, is introducing a new range of raised textured fabrics at Milano Unica, which opens today. Textured Reflective Fabric, the name of the series, is part of the company’s quest to offer its customers novel graphic options in its striking light-reflecting products.

The two new references feature a rip-stop textured grid that is offered in two sizes, mini and standard ripstop. The raised weave pattern creates tiny ridges on the surface of the reflective coating. “We chose a rip stop motif because it resonates well in functional apparel, and creates both a visual and a tactile effect,” Céline Cugerone, CEO of JRC Reflex, tells Sportstextiles

The reference was developed in house by the company’s R&D team, at the manufacturing facility located near Bergamo in Italy. JRC Reflex’s headquarters are located in Romans, France, in a newly built office building.
