Reflective Alphaedge 4D expands Futurecraft range

The midsole is printed using Carbon Digital Light Synthesis technology, pioneered by technology company Carbon, which uses digital light projection, oxygen-permeable optics and programmable liquid resins to print high-performance, durable polymeric products.
The upper features a reflective prime knit, with threads individually constructed with Forgedmesh – a process using TPU-coated yarn intended to maximise performance when stitched at various angles and layers for strength in motion.
The Continental rubber outsole uses Continental tire technology, with engineered traction zones to support deeper cuts and faster acceleration.
Adidas 4D was first revealed as a concept release from Futurecraft – Adidas’ "innovation incubator" – in 2017, and is a data-led design that aims to eventually create personalised footwear based on specific sports and individual athlete needs.
Alphaedge 4D FW19 will be globally available from 11 November, 2019.
