Unifi launches new stretch solution

This week at Premiere Vision, in Paris, Unifi is launching a new spandex-free stretch yarn as part of its recycled polyester Repreve platform. Integr8, as the new yarn is called, is said to combine comfort stretch, softness, moisture management and UV protection. A continuous filament yarn, it addresses calls for mono-material designs to facilitate recycling apparel at a product’s end of life. Made from post-consumer recycled plastic, the proportion of which is not specified, it also has Unifi’s FiberPrint traceability marker.
