PV celebrates first Canadian event

Textiles exhibition group Première Vision has said its first Canadian event, held in Montreal on April 22 and 23, was a “great success”, with more than 100 international exhibitors, 24 seminars and 2,150 professionals and students attending.

This first event was organised in partnership with the mmode Cluster, alongside Tourisme Montréal and the Ministry of Tourism.

Thierry Langlais, vice-president of operations at PV, said: "Première Vision Montréal brought together a considerable number of visitors, all very enthusiastic about this new event in Canada.

"The success of this edition confirms for us the need to meet our markets, especially in the context of change and the geopolitical instability we are experiencing.”

He added that a 2026 event was being planned.
