Esprit chief executive to stand down

The chief executive of clothing brand Esprit, Anders Kristiansen, has resigned. He will step down by February 28.

Esprit will also “concentrate global administrative functions” in Hong Kong and Mr Kristiansen’s successor will be based there. He has been based Ratingen, near Düsseldorf.

Doug and Susie Tomkins, the founders of The North Face, launched Esprit in San Francisco in 1968.
