Radici invests in new meltblown nonwoven production line
Bergamo-based polymer producer Radici Group has announced it will invest €15 million in a new production line for meltblown nonwoven.
It said it had taken the decision after the health emergency brought on by covid-19 had laid bare how little meltblown material is manufactured in Europe. This material has been in high demand for us in face masks and other personal protective equipment (PPE).
Radici described the new production line as “sophisticated and technologically advanced”. It can make nonwoven material from polypropylene, polymers, polyester, polyamide and TPU.
