Spinnova to move to commercial-scale production

Finnish bio-yarn producer Spinnova has said it will work with Brazil-based pulp producer Suzano to open a commercial-scale factory.
As a result, it has said its Spinnova fibre will be available to global textile brands from 2022.
It presents Spinnova fibre has generating zero waste and zero microplastic pollution, with “minimal CO2 emissions and water use”.
For its part, Suzano describes itself as the world’s leading producer of eucalyptus pulp and one of Latin America’s largest paper producers. Its headquarters are in São Paulo.
