Senior appointments at Wolverine

26/05/2021

Outdoor and sports footwear group Wolverine Worldwide has made two appointments to the senior management team of its Sperry brand. It named Isabel Soriano as president of the group’s international business, and Katherine Cousins as its global brand president for Sperry.

Isabel Soriano joined Wolverine in 2018 as the managing director for Europe for all of the group’s brands. She will now take charge of all of the group’s non-US business. The group’s brands include Merrell, Saucony, Sperry, Cat Footwear, Hush Puppies, and Keds. Ms Soriano will join the group’s executive leadership team.

She previously worked at VF Corporation as vice-president for its Vans, Timberland and Kipling brands in South America. Earlier in her career she worked at Nike.

Katherine Cousins replaces Joelle Grunberg as the global brand president of Sperry. She, too, worked previously at VF Corporation, as general manager of its Kodiak, Terra and Work Authority brands.
