Quality in Puma’s sights
Sports brand Puma has announced a new collection of clothing in a line it calls MMQ. The name comes from the German term Macht’s mit Qualität, which means ‘made with quality’.
It said its new season of MMQ apparel is inspired by “minimalist Scandinavian design sensibilities”, adding that the clothes feature high levels of craftsmanship and construction.
Product designs feature clean lines, muted colours, and “elevated materials”; Puma described the overall look as “a premium take on classic streetwear”, with hooded sweatshirts, pocket tees and sweatpants.
There is also footwear, made from a mix of materials including suede in neutral colours, but with purple and orange accents.
Former Monaco, Juventus, Arsenal, Barcelona, New York Red Bulls and France national team footballer, Thierry Henry, fronted Puma’s presentation of the new collection.
