Big name signs up as bike brand breaks into textiles
One of the Decathlon group’s cycling brands, Van Rysel, which, for just over a year has been designing and producing cycling apparel as well as bikes, is to become the kit supplier of one of the world’s top cycling teams, Cofidis.
From January 1, Cofidis riders will wear Van Rysel shirts and shorts in all competitions. The team’s cyclists and technical staff worked with the brand on the design of the kit.
“This partnership will help bring us close to riders competing at the highest level,” said Van Rysel’s head of textiles, Guillaume Pichot. “This will help us in our efforts to make continuous improvement in the technical performance of our products.”
