Directa Plus, a producer of graphene nanoplatelet-based products, has supplied Gruppo Sportivo Fiamme Azzurre, the sporting division of Italian law enforcement agency Polizia Penitenziara, with its textile technologies.  

Founder and chief executive of Director Plus, Giulio Cesareo, said that the company’s Graphene Plus material will be incorporated in cycling garments made by Italy’s Emotion Energy sportswear brand, which will be worn by the team “in all future competitions”.  

Mr Cesareo added that he was delighted by the development, commenting: “This is once again a demonstration of the extreme reliability and performance of Graphene Plus, which proves to be the perfect partner for frontline athletes and sportswear pioneers.”
