Activewear brand Sher, which primarily focuses on the women’s cycling market, has produced a collection of sports apparel made with biodegradable yarn supplied by Italian fibre manufacturer Fulgar.

The collection comprises four news styles, two cycling bib shorts and two gravel bike shorts, all of which have been made with a functional fabric called Fitter, which uses Fulgar’s biodegradable Amni Soul Eco 6,6 polyamide yarn.

According to Fulgar, Amni Soul Eco biodegrades in “about five years” in anaerobic landfills.

Sher’s founder, Sara Canali, commented that her brand is currently journeying towards “increasingly green” production methods, while at the same time taking care not to neglect performance properties and overall quality.
