Skins compression gear enters South Korea
Functional compression garment brand Skins, owned by Hong Kong-based Symphony Holdings since 2019, recently established a presence in South Korea via Seoul-headquartered fashion group Modern Works.
Following the latter company’s acquisition of the Korean import and distribution rights to Skins, the brand will launch with an online platform ready for the spring-summer 2022 season. There are also plans for Skins to partner with domestic wholesalers, including department stores, local media said.
Internationally, more than 160 compression products are currently sold under the Skins brand name, including those meant for running, golf, cycling, snow sports and even space exploration.
Previously, the company has partnered with the German Paralympic swimming team and Stoke City Football Club in the United Kingdom.
