Specialty fibre manufacturer Lenzing has announced Cord Prinzhorn in the role of chief executive of the group, on an interim basis, from November 4.

Mr Prinzhorn has been a member of Lenzing’s supervisory board since April, a role he will, temporarily, stop fulfilling while serving as temporary chief executive.

Lenzing made the announcement at the same time as it reported its financial results for the first nine months of 2021. It earned revenues of close to €1.6 billion for the period, an increase of 33% compared to the same months in 2020.
