Textile chemicals provider Huntsman Textile Effects has added to its Avitera dye range with the introduction of Avitera Rose SE, which the company says will give “brilliant bluish-red shades” and will perform well with cellulosic fibres and blends.

Huntsman Textile Effects has said the new dye will also deliver substantial water and energy savings, reduced costs and “exceptional overall fastness”.

Water and energy savings can by up to 50%, it said, thanks to low-temperature and high-speed wash-off technology. It added that the technology can help textile mills increase their output by 25% or more.
