Reinach site returns to its roots for Archroma
Specialist developer of textile chemicals Archroma has relocated its headquarters to the Swiss town of Pratteln, ten kilometres east of Basel.
It explained that the new location is in a business hub that has a fully serviced conference and event centre.
Archroma will keep its existing site at Reinach, which is a few kilometres to the south of Basel; it will concentrate on research and development activities there.
The Reinach site was always intended to function as a dedicated technical centre, but growth over the last decade meant it had begun to host a growing number of corporate services and teams. These teams will now move to Pratteln and the Reinach facility “will return to its roots”.
Chief executive, Heike van de Kerkhof, said: “We are excited to refocus our Reinach site as a true tech hub to provide innovative, sustainable solutions and services to our customers to help them increase the value of their products.”
