Technical textiles steal the show in Ternua’s Protech line

Basque outdoor brand Ternua has developed a technical clothing line called Protech for its autumn-winter 2022-2023 collection.

Ternua has said 90% of the garments in this line have been designed with recycled materials, using technical textiles from PrimaLoft, Singtex, Schoeller and Pertex.

It highlighted the Protech line’s Rakaposhi jacket and pants (pictured), which it made available for the current season, but which it will now offer in new colours. These use Schoeller’s Aerobrane recycled, membrane-enhanced material for moisture resistance, breathability, durability and elasticity.
It also picked out the Amphu JKT light, hooded jacket, which uses PrimaLoft’s Gold Lux insulation.

According to Ternua, the Sharpu JKT jacket is another notable component of the Protech line. Its Pertex Quantum exterior, lightweight polyamide lining and PrimaLoft Gold insulation make it suitable for use as a second-layer garment or even as an outer layer in good conditions.
