Senior sales appointment for Texon in Europe
Performance material solutions developer Texon has appointed a new regional sales director, with Norbert Nieleck joining to help it grow its business with footwear manufacturers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Before moving to Texon, Mr Nieleck worked at labelling solutions developer Avery Dennison, eventually becoming its sales director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. After this, he went to work at hook-and-loop materials developer Velcro, becoming its vice-president for sales and marketing in Europe, and, from there, to become global sales director of a German hook-and-loop producer, Gottlieb Binder. He will continue to be based in Germany.
Texon’s sales director, Bryan Whitfield, said Europe is home to many of the company’s key customers. He said Mr Nieleck would bring “a high level of strategy” to the company’s efforts to work with those customers on projects that will improve the environmental footprint of their footwear collections.
