Sports and outdoor brand Columbia Sportswear has appointed Pri Shumate as the new chief marketing officer for its Columbia brand. She joins from Hurley.

On appointing Ms Shumate, brand president, Joe Boyle, described her as “a consumer-obsessed marketing leader”.
