Net-zero nonwovens is Lenzing’s aim
Lenzing board member Robert van de Kerkhof has said the group’s Veocel brand of lyocell fibres will continue to bring to market solutions that offer raw materials with a net-zero footprint, paving the way for what he called “a net-zero nonwovens industry”.
Veocel fibres are in use in personal care products such as flushable toilet tissue wipes.
The group has appointed a new head of its nonwovens business, bringing Monique Buch into the role.
