Brands are resonating with consumers, Columbia says
Outdoor group Columbia Sportswear has reported revenues of $761.5 million for the first quarter of 2022, an increase of 21.7% compared to the same three months last year.
Apparel, accessories and equipment accounted for $565.9 million of the quarter’s total revenue and footwear for $195.6 million.
Chief executive, Tim Boyle, said the result validated Columbia’s strategy and showed that its brands “are resonating with consumers”. The group’s main brands are Columbia, Sorel, Prana and Mountain Hardwear.
