Puma names chair of supervisory board
Puma has elected financial specialist Héloïse Temple-Boyer as chair of the supervisory board, taking over from Jean-François Palus, who resigned.
A supervisory board is chosen by the stockholders of a company to promote their interests and to hire and supervise the board of directors and CEO.
Ms Temple-Boyer has been a member of the board since 2019 and is a member of the audit committee.
She has been deputy CEO of holding group Artémis since 2018. Groupe Artémis was founded by François Pinault in 1992 as a family investment vehicle and Ms Temple-Boyer oversees its stakes in Kering, auction house Christie’s and Puma.
Kering, controlled by France’s Pinault family, owns around 4% of Puma.
Ms Temple-Boyer has also held senior positions at Groupe Casino, Rothschild & Cie and at private equity firm Advent International.
She said: “It is due to Jean-François Palus that Puma is well positioned and well prepared for the challenges of the future.”
