US Cotton Trust Protocol doubles grower participation

The trust’s mission is to bring quantifiable goals and measurement to the key sustainability metrics of US cotton production.
Dr Gary Adams, president of the US Cotton Cotton Trust Protocol said: “During our second year we doubled the number of US cotton growers in the programme with an estimated 1.1 million cotton acres enrolled.”
It also has 600 brand, retailer, mill and manufacturer members, including J.Crew, Madewell, Levi Strauss & Co and Gap.
