Membrane-fabric combo results from Jack Wolfskin-Schoeller partnership
Outdoor brand Jack Wolfskin and textile technology developer Schoeller have worked together on a series of “co-developed fabrications” for spring 2023.
For spring-summer 2023, Jack Wolfskin will pair its Texapore Ecosphere 100 % recycled or reused polyester waterproof breathable membrane with Schoeller’s performance fabrics to deliver fabrications that the two companies say will offer comfort, durability and extended longevity for a range of outdoor apparel designs.
“As an industry, we’re going to find the best solutions by working together,” said Daniele Grasso, vice-president for product and apparel at Jack Wolfskin. “Schoeller has a proven and highly regarded performance track record. Together we share common values to create products that are engineered for life and to advance industry standards for developing sustainably conscious manufacturing processes and materials.”
The initial fabrics developed through the collaboration include a sstretch woven double weave fabric and a Texapore Eco- phere Pro Schoeller 3L fabric for a collection called Discovery Wilderness. There are also two- and three-layer shell fabrics for the summer 2023 Trekking collection.
