Schoeller’s Taiwanese partner takes over production
Swiss-headquartered textiles-maker Schoeller has announced that all production will now take place in Taiwan, via its long-term manufacturing partner there.
The 150 year-old technical textiles producer was bought by textile chemicals developer Texticolor in early summer and shut its Swiss operations in August, when it announced “a new organisation is taking shape”.
It will make its established articles from the Taiwanese facility, with “updated pricing” and technical performance data.
The company said: “Textile engineering and our Swiss roots as a company define what we stand for. We remain a partner for innovative, high-performance textile solutions.”
