Footwear brand puts Polartec fabric into snow running shoe
Mountain footwear brand Scarpa is preparing to launch a new snow trail running shoe in its Ribelle Run range, the Kalibra G.
New features in this shoe are that the structure includes a lightweight shoe structure, secured using Boa lacing technology, and a zip-up external cover on top of that, made from Polartec’s Windbloc fabric.
The Polartec cover comes above the ankle to give runners extra protection from the weather, but while the fabric offers protection from moisture and wind, it adds little noticeable weight to make running through the snow as easy as possible
