Record Q2 sales for Puma

Sports group Puma has reported sales revenues of more than €2 billion for the second quarter of 2022, an increase of 26% compared to the same quarter last year.

This is the first time Puma has achieved revenues of more than €2 billion in a quarter.

Revenues for the first six months of the year were €3.9 billion, an increase of 24.7% year on year.

Chief executive, Bjørn Gulden, said these results underlined strong demand for Puma’s products, “despite all the global obstacles and uncertainties”. He said he was especially proud to have seen “very strong growth” in a range of categories including running, training, teamsports, golf and basketball.

“We feel that the increased investments into research and development, innovation and product development over the past years are starting to pay off,” he said.
